Manor ISD to Distribute Free Meals to All Students

Manor ISD Community;

Manor ISD Food and Nutrition Services Department received guidance from the Texas Department of Agriculture that our district will be able to resume free curbside breakfast and lunch distribution to all of our students and all children in our community under the age of 18.

We ask that families make sure they have completed a lunch application. Those needing to complete an application CLICK HERE. If your child attends Manor ES, Oak Meadows ES, Decker ES, Blake Manor ES, Presidential Meadows ES, Lagos ES or Decker Middle School, verify you have completed the socioeconomic form in the Returning Student Online Verification in Family Access to ensure there is no pause in service to your child’s free lunch services.

The distribution of free meals will start this Tuesday, September 8th and will continue through the end of 2020, per USDA funding.

The times of distribution will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at all of our MISD campuses. Curbside breakfast and lunch will be provided for each child in the vehicle. Families are advised to stay in their cars and to not enter buildings during meal pick up.

Please note, to receive a meal package a form of identification for each child is required. Children do not need to be present to receive a meal package. If you do not have a form of identification, we ask that your child be present to verify their age.

We are looking forward to a successful Fall Food Program. Come join us for free breakfast and lunch!

Any questions about our meal programs should be directed to our Food and Nutrition Services Department. You can reach them by phone at 512-278-4080 or send us your questions on Let’s Talk.
