Manor ISD Welcomed Its Newest Addition To The Manor ISD Police Department-K9 Jessie

April 28, 2023 – Manor ISD welcomed its newest addition to the Manor ISD Police Department, K9 Jessie. Jessie graduated from Pacesetter K9; Veteran owned and operated corporation, specialized in training top quality K9s for Law Enforcement. Jessie alongside K9 handler, Gary Humphrey went through 3 weeks of rigorous training: narcotics detection and tracking. Jean Goodwin, a major donor for K9s4COPs, was responsible for donating our K9 to the Manor ISD Police Department.

“I’m very excited about having Jessie. I'm excited about what Jessie is going to help us do as a school district… She has done really well with the training, I’m very proud of her and all the accomplishments she has made!”,K9 handler, Gary Humphrey.

What you need to know when you see the K9 on duty: do not pet the K9 without permission and no fast abrupt movements.
