Apply for a Manor Innovator Grant through the Manor Schoolhouse Foundation

Dear Manor ISD Staff,

 

The Grants Committee of the Manor Schoolhouse Foundation (MSF) is pleased to open the 2020-2021 opportunity to apply for Manor Innovator Grants.

 

The Manor Schoolhouse Foundation’s mission is to partner with the community to provide resources, maximize innovative practices and support teaching and learning for all students in the Manor Independent School.

 

Manor Innovator Grants are designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize, and reward innovative and creative instructional.

 

MISD employees may apply for grants to support innovative programs or projects to support higher levels of student learning. The grants must enhance student academic performance and support the objectives, goals, and initiatives of the Campus Action Plan or District Improvement Plan.

 

Projects can fall into one or more categories:

  • Project-Based Learning Initiatives
  • Fine Arts Programming
  • Academic and Educational Enrichment
  • Social Emotional Learning
  • Parent Education
  • Innovative Teaching
  • Physical Health
  • Student Leadership Development
  • Virtual or Hybrid Instruction

 

The grant application, instructions, and guidelines can be found here on the Manor Schoolhouse Foundation website.

 

  • Grants up to $750 will be awarded to individual teacher-initiated programs or projects.
  • Grants up to $1,500 will be awarded to campus teams, departments and district initiated programs or projects.

 

You may apply for one or more grants.

 

To ensure consideration of your request, please adhere to the guidelines.

  • September 21 & 22, 2020 - Grant Writing Workshop Central Administration Office 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.  and 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. (optional)
  • October 16, 2020 Grants Due
  • December 10 and 11, 2020 MSF Awards Grants

 

The MSF Board Selection Committee is comprised of up to 11 members. Applications will receive a blind review to ensure an objective score unbiased by individual or campus ties.
