Seniors Within Manor ISD Presented With Scholarships

 

Manor, TX (April 23, 2021) - Despite the difficulties of the past year, MISD scholars are continuing to put in the hard work to achieve their dreams. Four MISD scholars have been awarded college scholarships.

 

Manor Early College High School scholar Jesenia Correa received the QuestBridge National Scholarship and was accepted to Boston College with a full-ride scholarship of $307,000.

 

Manor Early College High School scholar Adrianne Williams received a scholarship of $280,000 to attend Hofstra University in New York

 

​Manor Early College High School Principal, Alime Sadikova explains, “These two scholars have worked very hard regardless of this very unusual year! Their dedication all 4 years at Manor Early College High School paid off and now they are going to very prestigious schools with a full scholarship!”

 

Manor New Tech High School scholar Reese Anspaugh was accepted into New York University and received the Tandon Scholarship for a total of $46,300 per year, which is about $185,200 in total. 

 

Manor New Tech High School scholar Helen Nguyen is one of only 30 Terry Scholars state-wide that will receive a full-ride scholarship to attend the University of Texas at Austin. 

 

“In a year in which we have all faced so much adversity, these scholarships serve as a culminating testament to the hard work our scholars commit to on a daily basis,” said Manor New Tech High School Principal, Bobby Garcia. “We are proud that they are being recognized and supported as they continue Manor New Tech’s long tradition of post-secondary excellence.”

Estudiantes de último año de Manor ISD recibieron becas

Jesenia Correa, estudiante de Manor Early College High School, recibió la Beca Nacional QuestBridge y fue aceptada en Boston College con una beca completa de $307,000.

 

La estudiante de Manor Early College High School, Adrianne Williams, recibió una beca de $280,000 para asistir a la Universidad de Hofstra en Nueva York.
