Manor ISD to Distribute Meals During School Cancellations

In this time of need, Manor ISD Food and Nutrition Services will be preparing and distributing meals for children under the age of 19. MISD is working in collaboration with the Texas Department of Agriculture to help out those in our community who have come to rely on these meals. The distribution of meals will start this Monday, March 23rd and will continue through April 3rd. These dates of distribution could be extended if the closure of our schools continue.
The times of distribution will be 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Manor New Tech High School, Blake Manor Elementary and Decker Elementary. Decker Elementary School and Blake Manor Elementary School will have pick ups in the front of the school, while the pick up for Manor New Tech High School will have pick up in the parking lot in front of MNTHS Cafe, across from MISD’s Central Administration Office.
Curbside lunch meals will be provided for each child in the vehicle. Families are advised to stay in their cars and to not enter buildings during meal pick up. Children must be present to receive a meal package. Meals are not available for adults. Signs will be posted at each location with directions to enter the parking lot. You do not need to have a student ID to participate.
