Manor ISD Administration announced that they are beginning the boundary review process for select elementary schools to balance enrollment, get scholars learning closer to home and improve building utilization during the Board of Trustees workshop on Feb. 5, 2024.

The review will focus on potentially adjusting boundaries for portions of:

  • Decker Elementary School

  • Presidential Meadows Elementary School, and

  • Undeveloped areas zoned for ShadowGlen Elementary School

The adjustment for Decker Elementary would impact scholars who live at:

  • Loma Vista Manufactured Home Community

  • Oak Forest RV Resort, and

  • Bluestem Apartments at Loyola.

If approved, students residing in these areas would attend Oak Meadows Elementary School. If scholars do not reside in these areas, they will not be impacted by the adjustment.

The adjustment for Presidential Meadows would impact scholars who live at:

  • Hogeye Rd

  • Hibbs Ln

  • Bitting School Rd

  • Ingrid Dr

  • Lucinda Dr

  • Morin Dr

  • Ann Showers Dr

  • Silvia Dr

  • Tristan Dr, and

  • Unice Dr.

If approved, students residing in these areas would attend Blake Manor Elementary School. If scholars do not reside in these areas, they will not be impacted by the adjustment.

The adjustment for ShadowGlen would impact an area of Manor which does not currently have homes built on it. If approved, and if residences were constructed and occupied, scholars in these areas would attend Lagos Elementary School. No current scholars are impacted by this adjustment.

Another portion of the review focuses on formally updating the attendance zone map to reflect the boundaries currently practiced for Pioneer Crossing Elementary School. No changes are being proposed to the attendance zone, only adjusting the map to reflect currently practiced boundaries, which must be approved by the Board of Trustees.

Families are encouraged to review the current and proposed elementary boundaries to see if they are impacted. More information, as well as an FAQ can be found on our website.

If boundary adjustments are approved, transportation will be provided to scholars who are eligible for transportation services within the new attendance zones. Families can review Manor ISD’s transportation eligibility guidelines to determine if they are eligible.

  • Decker Elementary School

  • Presidential Meadows Elementary School, y

  • Jones Rd

  • Hogeye Rd

  • Hibbs Ln

  • Bitting School Rd

  • Ingrid Dr

  • Lucinda Dr

  • Morin Dr

  • Ann Showers Dr

  • Silvia Dr

  • Tristan Dr, and

  • Unice Dr.
