  • Manor ISD Receives $10,000 Donation From Weed Man Lawn Care

    Manor, TX (February 26, 2021) - While this year has been a challenging time to secure resources, a local area business has stepped in to support our scholars through the pandemic. Weed Man Lawn Care, Austin’s go-to business for lawn service, has donated $10,000 to Manor ISD to show their support to the Manor Community and Manor ISD.

  • Let’s Get Into It YouTube Series Selects Five MECHS Scholars To Participate

    Manor, TX (February 26, 2021) - Five Manor Early College High School (MECHS) scholars stood out amongst their peers and have been selected as cast members for the Austin Community College’s (ACC) Let’s Get Into It YouTube series. Scholars will be responsible for attending training workshops, generating show content, serving as on-air personalities and interviewing guests.

    Manor, TX (February 25, 2021) - SAT School Day: March 3 WHAT TO EXPECT AND PREPARE FOR Manor ISD 11th and 12th grade scholars are able to take the SAT® on March 3, at your school, just like they do when taking the PSAT/NMSQT®. Manor ISD can now offer the SAT and administer it during the school day. The entire SAT Suite of Assessments—including the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT™ 10, and PSAT™ 8/9—is now available to order in one place.

  • Inaugural Manor ISD HBCU Virtual College Fair

    Manor, TX (February 22, 2021) - Manor ISD is hosting the Inaugural HBCU Virtual College Fair on Wednesday, February 24 from 11 am to 2 pm. Visit manorisd.net/HBCU to join our HBCU Virtual College Fair. Scholars and families will be able to explore twelve different HBCUs and speak live with representatives from each college and university.

  • Manor ISD Food And Nutrition Services Resume Curbside Meal Service

    Manor, TX (February 22, 2021) - Curbside meals will resume Monday, February 22nd through Wednesday, February 24th. Breakfast and lunch will be available for pick up to all MISD scholars at Decker Middle School, Lagos Elementary, and Presidential Meadows Elementary from 10 am to 12 pm.

  • Non-Perishable Food Item Distribution February 19

    Manor, TX (February 18, 2021) - Friday, February 19, beginning at 1:30 pm The City of Manor, The Manor Police Department, the Manor COVID-19 Disaster Relief Group in conjunction with Manor ISD is teaming up with the Central Texas Food Bank to provide boxes of non-perishable food items to Manor, TX and the surrounding areas at Manor Senior High School and Blake Manor Elementary while supplies last. Please be patient as we coordinate this effort.

  • Austin Area Winter Storm Shelters

    Manor, TX (February 17, 2021) - The Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN) is working with the City of Austin/Travis County to open Winter Storm Shelters throughout the Greater Austin area to provide close-in-proximity shelters for families and individuals in need. We understand that families have no electricity and/or experienced water pipes busting, creating a wet environment. NOTE: Please bring a change of clothes, toiletries, pillows, blankets, bed mats, extra dry food, water, etc if you plan to stay at a Church Shelter.

  • ConectaDos: Literacy Workshops for Spanish-Speaking Parents of English Learners in Pre-K through Second Grade

    Manor, TX (February 16, 2021) - ¡Corran la Voz! ”ConectaDos" is a series of literacy workshops. The goal of these workshops is to provide parents with essential tools, resources, and skills to support their children's learning at home by actively engaging parents of bilingual students in grades PK-2 in a workshop offered fully in Spanish that will focus on the foundations of literacy and the development of bilingual reading.

  • Winter Storm Update: Manor ISD Closed On Tuesday Feb. 16 and Wednesday Feb. 17

    Manor, TX (February 12, 2020) – Manor New Technology High School has earned the College Board AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science A and AP Computer Science Principles. Schools honored with the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award have expanded girls’ access in AP Computer Science courses.
