Dr. Mary Thomas, a dedicated trustee for Manor ISD, has been named a 2024 Choice Awardee by the Black Professional Alliance (BPA), an honor celebrating exceptional leadership and community impact. Dr. Thomas will be recognized at the BPA’s annual gala, A Mosaic of Brilliance, which highlights professionals who drive positive change within their communities.

“This recognition is truly meaningful to me,” Dr. Thomas said. “I am deeply committed to our Manor ISD community, and I am grateful to the BPA for this honor. I look forward to celebrating with so many others who are working to make a difference.”

The BPA Choice Award is presented to leaders whose commitment and dedication significantly uplift their communities. Dr. Thomas has been an influential advocate for equitable educational opportunities in Manor ISD, helping to create a positive learning environment for students across the district.
