Manor ISD has officially surpassed 10,000 scholars for the first time in its history, marking a significant achievement in the district’s continued growth. This milestone comes as many school districts across the state face declining enrollment, highlighting the work of Manor ISD’s dedicated educators and strong community partnerships.
“This moment is truly special for Manor ISD,” said Superintendent Dr. Robert Sormani. “Reaching 10,000 scholars is a testament to the hard work of our teachers, staff, and leadership, as well as the trust our families place in us to provide a quality education. We are proud to celebrate this achievement with our entire Manor ISD community.”
The 10,000th scholar, Ramiro Rodriguez Nunez, a kindergarten student at Presidential Meadows Elementary enrolled this Fall. To celebrate this milestone, Manor ISD will honor Ramiro at the February Board meeting. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.
Manor ISD’s growth reflects the district’s commitment to academic excellence, innovative programming, and a student-centered approach. The district continues to invest in initiatives that prepare scholars for success, including career and technical education pathways, early college opportunities, and enhanced safety measures.
As Manor ISD makes history, the district remains focused on its mission to serve, support, and inspire every scholar, ensuring that this growth translates into meaningful opportunities for all students.
