Manor ISD Earns Superior Rating for Financial Integrity From The Texas Education Agency

For the second consecutive year, Manor Independent School District (MISD) earned a Superior Rating in the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. This prestigious rating, awarded by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), reflects the district's excellence in managing taxpayer funds.

The TEA established the FIRST rating system to ensure that Texas public schools are held accountable for their financial management practices. It assesses the financial performance of districts across various metrics, including budgetary planning, financial solvency, and the accuracy of financial reports. The Superior Rating is the highest designation a district can achieve, signifying that Manor ISD meets or exceeds the state's rigorous financial standards.
