Manor ISD Board President Ana Cortez to Take the Stage at "Renaissance with the Stars" 2025

The San Antonio Area African American Community Fund (SAAAACF) will once again host its signature fundraising gala, Renaissance with the Stars, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the prestigious Tobin Performing Arts Center (San Antonio, TX.). This dazzling evening of dinner and dance will highlight community leaders stepping into the spotlight, all supporting their powerful mission: to promote and advocate for financial philanthropy to enhance the quality of living of the African American community in the San Antonio area.

Among this year’s featured dancers is Ana Cortez, Manor ISD School Board President, who will proudly represent Manor ISD and the Mexican American School Boards Association (MASBA). Known for her passionate leadership and commitment to equity in education, Cortez brings her signature energy and heart to the stage, all while raising funds to benefit the African American community in the greater San Antonio area.

Hosted annually by the San Antonio Area African American Community Fund, Renaissance with the Stars celebrates philanthropy, culture, and community. Showtime is at 7:15 PM, when local “stars” perform choreographed dance routines alongside their professional partners.
