Manor ISD Approves Updated 2025–2026 Compensation Plan, Raises For Teachers and Staff
Manor ISD’s Board of Trustees has approved an updated version of the district’s compensation plan for the 2025–2026 school year, ensuring that all employees benefit from state funding approved during the 89th Texas Legislative Session.
Legislative Requirements and District Adjustments
Due to mandates outlined in House Bill 2, the district has updated its compensation plan to reflect new salary increases for teachers based on years of experience. In addition, Manor ISD has committed to providing a 1% raise at the midpoint for all other employees not covered by the bill.
Teacher Salary Increases
Under the state’s new requirements, Manor ISD educators will receive salary increases as follows:
-
Teachers with 3–4 years of experience will receive a $2,500 raise
- Teachers with 5 or more years of experience will receive a $5,000 raise
Teacher Salary Increases Funded By Manor ISD
-
Teachers with 1–2 years of experience will receive a $1,000 raise
With these adjustments, Manor ISD’s starting certified teacher salary will now be $58,350, a competitive rate among Central Texas school districts.
Raises for Non-Teaching Staff Funded by Manor ISD
For staff members not covered by HB 2, Manor ISD is funding and providing a 1% at midpoint salary raise. While the district recognizes the need for greater compensation across the board, leaders emphasized their gratitude for being able to provide this increase as a sign of appreciation for staff dedication.
Timeline
The salary increases for staff will go into effect with the September 30 paycheck. This paycheck will include a lump sum payment for the retroactive increases, with all future checks reflecting the updated salary.
