Dr. Kendra Doyle Named New Director of Academics and Multilingual Services

With a career spanning over 20 years, Dr. Kendra Doyle has been named Manor ISD's new Director of Academics and Multilingual Services.

Dr. Doyle has held many roles in the educational sector, including positions as a classroom teacher, instructional specialist, curriculum coordinator, and, more recently, executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for San Antonio ISD, a role she has held for seven years.

In her recent role, Dr. Doyle managed the daily operations of multiple departments, developed and implemented strategies to increase performance, and led efforts to develop leaders within the school system.  In addition, she directly supervised all academic departments, including Reading/ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Math at all grade levels.

"I believe every child deserves access to rigorous, culturally sustaining instruction that affirms their identity and unlocks their full academic potential,” Dr. Doyle said. “My work has consistently centered on leading with an equity lens, investing in educators, and building systems that support meaningful learning. I’m excited to continue that work in Manor ISD as part of a dynamic leadership team." 

Dr. Doyle received both her Doctorate in School Improvement and her Master's in Professional Counseling from Texas State University.
