Dr. Charles Rodriguez Named Principal of Bluebonnet Trail Elementary School

Manor ISD is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Charles Rodriguez as the new principal of Bluebonnet Trail Elementary School. With 20 years of experience in education and 15 of those in educational leadership, Dr. Rodriguez brings a wealth of experience in campus management, instructional leadership, and team development.

Dr. Rodriguez has held many roles in his educational career, including educator, principal at elementary and middle school campuses, and director for various district departments. Most recently, as the Director of Student Services, he implemented discipline policies that reduced suspensions by 20% in one year, provided training and coaching to campus principals, and led stakeholder engagement initiatives.

“I am honored to serve as the next principal of Bluebonnet Trail Elementary. There are great things happening at BTE, and I look forward to working alongside our students, families, staff, and community members to continue building a strong and supportive school environment”, said Dr. Rodriguez. “I’m excited to grow with this amazing community and help our kids thrive every day.”

Dr. Rodriguez received his Doctorate in Education from Texas Tech University and his Master’s of Education in Administration from Texas Wesleyan University.
