Manor ISD is proud to announce Brandon Powell as the new Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE). With over 20 years of experience in education, 19 of which have been dedicated to Manor ISD, Powell brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to the role.

Throughout her tenure at Manor ISD, Powell has held many roles, including classroom teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, Associate Principal, and, most recently, Principal of Manor High School 9-10 campus for the last 5 years.

A visionary and servant leader, Ms. Powell is driven by a mission to help students and families realize and reach their full potential. She believes that equitable access to education is a fundamental right and that true success lies in preparing young people for life beyond the classroom. Her educational philosophy is rooted in exposure.

"In order for children to believe that things are possible, they must first be exposed to the possibilities," said Powell.

As the new Director of CTE, Powell aims to provide the tools and experiences through Career Technical Education to support students' needs to unlock doors once thought unreachable, proving that success is not only possible but achievable.

Powell received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Southwest Texas State University and later obtained her master’s Degree in Education Administration from Concordia University.
