Manor ISD Board President Ana Cortez Named TAMACC Woman of Distinction 2025

The Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) has named Ana Cortez, President of the Manor ISD Board of Trustees, one of its 2025 Women of Distinction. This prestigious recognition honors Latina leaders who are making a transformative impact in their fields and communities across Texas.

Cortez was honored at TAMACC’s annual Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon on Friday, August 1, 2025. This powerful and uplifting event shines a spotlight on 12 phenomenal Texas Latinas. This celebration, themed “Celebrate Excellence. Honor Legacy. Inspire the Future,” will recognize groundbreaking work in leadership, public service, business, and advocacy.

Ana Cortez, a proud advocate for equity in education and a fierce champion for student success, has dedicated her service to uplifting public education and empowering underrepresented communities. Her leadership as School Board President reflects the very values that TAMACC seeks to elevate — bold vision, cultural pride, and commitment to legacy-building.
