2025-2026 and 2026 -2027 Academic Calendar Community Survey

We invite you to provide your feedback on the options for the Academic Calendar for the next two school years. As you review the options, please review the parameters that Manor ISD followed to create these options:

• In accordance with Texas Education Code (TEC) §25.081, Subchapter C. Operation of Schools and School Attendance, school districts must operate for at least 75,600 minutes. A full day of instruction is equivalent to 450 minutes.
• Manor ISD teacher contracts are for 187 days. This includes 7 full days for Professional Learning.

The proposed calendars were developed by a committee representing various stakeholders, ensuring that diverse perspectives were considered. Additionally, the district carefully reviewed feedback from the community survey to guide the development of these options. View highlights of each calendar.

Please provide your preference on the proposed calendar options A and B for both school years.

The survey closes February 7, 2025, at 11:59 P.M. The Board of Trustees will vote on the calendar during their Regular Meeting on February 18, 2025.
