In-District Transfers
In-District Transfer Information
- In-District Transfer applications for the 2024-2025 school year will be open for submission on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
- Submitting a transfer application does not guarantee its approval.
- A transfer application is not an enrollment application.
- An In-District transfer is a request for Manor ISD residents to attend a Manor ISD school that is not the student’s assigned campus based on our attendance zones. An in district transfer is not needed for students who accept a seat via our Schools of Choice program.
Manor ISD's In-District Transfer Policy
- Students are required to complete an in-district application the first year they are requesting a transfer.
- Once an in-district transfer has been approved for a campus, current Manor ISD residents are NOT required to reapply for the same campus.
- Transfers are approved based on board policy.
- Applications for transfer are available on SchoolMint.
- Applications must have requested attachments to be considered complete.
- A transfer may be revoked during the school year if attendance, behavior, or academic expectations are no longer met.
- The approval of a transfer is based on space availability, 90% attendance, passing grades for the semester or year, and no In-School Suspension (ISS), Out-of-School Suspension (OSS), Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP), Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP), or expulsion issues.
- If the student transfers back to the school within the attendance zone they live in, they will be required to sit out for one year of varsity competition.
- Manor ISD will notify parents when a transfer is approved, denied, or revoked.
