Degrees and Certifications:
For as long as I could remember, I wanted to be an educator! My parents were military, so we had the opportunity to live in places like Panama City, Canal Zone, Germany, San Antonio and my hometown of Fort Hood, home of the largest military base in Texas!
I am the first in my family to graduate from college, as both of my parents were high school dropouts. I have been married for 22 years and my husband and I have two beautiful children, Noah 18, a freshman in college and Niya 14, a freshman in high school.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1996 and Master’s degree in Education in 2003 from Southwest Texas State University. I have spent the last twenty-four years in education and I love building connections and watching people grow. Watching my students achieve their success and grow inspires me to continue teaching. I always have room for growth and I want to continue with various professional development opportunities. It is my desire to provide Manor ISD with a resourceful instructional educator who has a vision for teaching and learning and equity for all students. I am proud to continue serving the Manor ISD community. Teamwork Makes the Dream work!
