    ACT and SAT Information and Registration:

    The ACT is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States. It is currently administered by ACT, a nonprofit organization of the same name. The ACT test covers four academic skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science reasoning. It also offers an optional direct writing test.

    The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States. The SAT is wholly owned, developed, and published by the College Board, a private, not-for-profit organization in the Unites States. The test is intended to assess students readiness for college.

  • Seniors Needing to Take the TSI Assessment: 6 Steps

    Nearly all seniors will be asked to upload their TSI Assessment results if you are going to any college or university.  The six steps to take the TSI assessment can be found at:  https://www.austincc.edu/admissions/tsi-assessment 

    Complete each step, and move through the process to register to take the TSI online from home.  If you skip step 3, you cannot register - you must compelte step 3  Step 5 is the only optional step.  TSI resources can be found at: https://www.austincc.edu/search?search=tsi

    Study!  This is the new TSIA2 and is harder than the previous TSI!
