This is my fourth year teaching, as well as my fourth year at Pioneer Crossing Elementary.

I graduated from the University of Nebraska (Go Big Red!) with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. I did my student teaching in 3rd grade, and am in my fourth year of teaching 5th grade here at PCE.

I am from Nebraska, but moved to Texas in 2017. Although I miss the Nebraska falls, I do not miss the cold, snowy winters. I enjoy being active and doing anything outside here in the Austin-area. I have a 3 year old Husky/mix dog named Penny and she is my pride and joy. I love to cook, travel, and experience new things with family and friends. One last fun fact about me is that I am a twin!

It is a joy to be a teacher here at PCE and I am so grateful this is what I get to do every day.

7:30-9:00 am- Science with Homeroom 

9:00-10:30 am- Science with Mrs. Houseal's Homeroom

10:30-11:55 am- Science with Ms. Trevino's Homeroom

11:55am-12:25 pm- Lunch

12:35-1:25 pm- Specials

1:25-2:35 pm- Intervention/Positivity Project

2:35-2:55 pm- Recess

2:55-3:00 pm- Pack-up/get ready for dismissal
