Manor ISD Has Partnered With ESS To Provide Substitute Services
Manor ISD is now working with ESS, a leading education staffing provider, to manage all substitute teacher and support staff assignments. This partnership helps ensure that our students continue to receive high-quality instruction when their teachers are absent.

ESS hires substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for Manor ISD.
Administrators, food services, and custodial substitutes will continue to be processed by Manor ISD Human Resources.

How to Become a Substitute in Manor ISD
Step 1: Apply directly through ESS
ESS will guide you through the hiring and onboarding process, including training, background checks, and placement.
Step 2: Attend a virtual hiring event or in-person onboarding session
Dates and details are shared through ESS. Support is available throughout your hiring process.
Step 3: Start receiving assignments at Manor ISD schools
You’ll use ESS’s system to choose when and where to work, based on your preferences and availability.
