Project Hope/McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act
We Serve:
Children and youth who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, including children and youth:
- Sharing the housing of other people due to the loss of housing, economic hardship, or similar reasons
- Living in motels, hotels, trailer parks, or camping grounds, due to the lack of alternative adequate accommodations
- Living in emergency or transitional shelters or abandoned in hospitals
- Living in a public or private place not designated for or ordinarily used as a regular sleeping accomodation for human beings
- Unaccompanied youth who live separate and apart from their parents
Referral Process:
Refer students or families who might be experiencing homelessness to our department.
