Facility Advisory Committee (FAC) 2026

Working Together to Plan for the Future of Manor ISD

The Manor ISD Facility Advisory Committee (FAC) is a community-led group that helps evaluate the district’s current and future facility needs. The committee reviews information related to campus conditions, enrollment growth, safety needs, and long-term planning priorities before making recommendations to the Manor ISD Board of Trustees.

Following the 2025 bond election, Manor ISD is reconvening the FAC to continue conversations with the community, review districtwide needs, gather feedback, and help guide recommendations for future facility planning and potential bond considerations.

Why the FAC Matters

The FAC gives community members a direct voice in planning for the future of Manor ISD schools and facilities. Through this process, the committee helps evaluate:

  • Student enrollment growth and trends
  • Campus capacity and utilization
  • Facility conditions and maintenance needs
  • Safety and security priorities
  • Transportation and technology needs
  • Long-range planning opportunities

The committee’s work helps ensure decisions are informed by community perspectives, district data, and the long-term needs of Manor ISD.

What Does the FAC Do?

The Facility Advisory Committee reviews district data, listens to presentations from district leadership and planning partners, discusses priorities, and develops recommendations for the Board of Trustees.

The FAC serves in an advisory role and does not make final decisions on district projects or bond elections.

How Are FAC Members Selected?

The FAC is made up of community representatives appointed by the Manor ISD Board of Trustees. Members must live within Manor ISD boundaries or own property within the district and must meet district eligibility and conflict-of-interest requirements.

The committee is designed to represent a broad range of community voices and perspectives from across Manor ISD.
