Meredith Roddy is the Director of Bilingual/ESL Programs for Manor ISD. Ms. Roddy holds a bachelor’s of arts in history from The University of Texas at Austin, a master’s in educational administration from Tarleton State University, and a principal certification from Education Service Center Region XIII.
Ms. Roddy brings 18 years of experience in bilingual education, including positions as a bilingual elementary school teacher, a bilingual education specialist for an education certification program, a bilingual/ESL program manager, and most recently a middle school academic dean.
Throughout her career, Roddy has had the opportunity to impact student achievement for English learners. She has worked directly with immigrant students, campus and district leaders, education service centers, and state agencies to conduct research and data analysis, to implement effective instructional programs, and to improve teaching and learning.
