Dana Fitzpatrick comes to us by the way of Chicago, Illinois. Prior to her role as Secondary ELA Coordinator, she spent ten years as a classroom teacher. Her classroom experience spans from elementary through secondary, with her most recent position in Manor ISD at Decker Middle School. Her time teaching grades 1 through 12 have provided her with a diverse set of experiences that will serve her well in her new role.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Chicago State University. She earned two Master’s degrees in Educational Technology and in Educational Administration from Concordia University at Chicago while working full time as a classroom teacher. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Adult, Professional, and Community Education from Texas State University.
INTERESTING FACT: Dana is a self-professed pizza connoisseur.
