Lisa Kutsch serves Manor ISD as the Coordinator for Secondary Mathematics. In this role, she leads the development of innovative math instructional materials for all secondary teachers. In addition, she supports secondary math teachers to ensure highly rigorous instruction throughout the district.
Lisa earned a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin where she was also in the UTEACH teacher certification program. Lisa earned two Master of Education degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Education Administration from Concordia University.
Lisa has ten years of education experience in the central Texas area, specifically Austin ISD, Lockhart ISD, and Manor ISD. Her experience includes teaching all levels of mathematics from 7th grade to AP Statistics. At Manor High School, Lisa served as the math department chair for three years. In addition, she has presented multiple sessions at the Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching (CAMT) and Austin Area Council of Teachers of Mathematics Conference (AACTM).
Prior to her role as the Secondary Math Coordinator, Lisa worked as the Academic Liaison for After School Programs, bringing her deep knowledge of instructional standards to the improvement and development of academics in the ACE program. In this position, she partnered with the Curriculum & Instruction Department.
In her down time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her two young sons and husband. She loves to scuba dive and travel, and tries to combine both passions when she can.
