Frank Ramirez Named as New MNTMS Principal

Manor ISD named Frank Ramirez as the new Principal at Manor New Tech Middle School during the district's regularly scheduled board meeting May 20. 
 
Mr. Ramirez is currently the Associate Principal at MNTMS, overseeing instruction. He previously served as an Associate Principal at Manor High School. Mr. Ramirez has 20 years of experience in education, 15 of which were at an administrative level. During that time, he has served in different capacities: Principal, Associate Principal, Assistant Principal, Instructional Specialist, and Bilingual Teacher. He has worked with scholars from Pre-K to12th Grade, parents, stakeholders, and business communities in Irving ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Calallen ISD and a charter school in the Austin area.
 
Mr. Ramirez holds certifications in Bilingual/ESL-Spanish, Classroom Teacher, Principal and Superintendent. He was named the John R. Good Elementary Teacher of the Year with Irving ISD. 
 
Mr. Ramirez reveived his Bachelor of Art in Communication from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a Master of Education in Administration from Texas Christian University. Currently, he is a Doctoral Student Candidate and working on his dissertation proposal from Texas A&M-Kingsville where he is committed to finishing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
 
Mr. Ramirez will be taking over for Christopher Smith, who will be returing home to El Paso in order to be closer to family.
