April 11th & 25th
May 10th & 16th
Teens say parents and caring adults are the #1 influence when it comes to decisions about intimate relations. Even if they do not always show it, they care what you think.
Manor ISD's Student & Family Support Services Department will host FREE workshops for parents/guardians of 5th-8th graders Aprill 11th, April 25th, May 10th & May 16th from 5:45 pm-7:30 pm. They will be held at the Manor Mustang Health Clinic located across Manor New Tech Middle School. The workshops will also include food, childcare, and door prizes.
Parents and guardians will:
* Give and get advice from other parents and caring adults
* Learn how to help your teen say "no" to intimate relations, make healthy decisions, and ways to stay involved with your teen, even when life gets busy
* Create a plan for talking to your teen about your values and relationships
* Take home helpful resources for your family
