About Fine Arts Academies

Fine Arts academies will focus on creative curriculum at all levels to engage the whole child while encouraging the highest level of personal achievement. Studies have shown that effective fine arts programs help reduce drop-out rates, raise student attendance, foster a love for learning, and enhance student self-accountability. Fine Arts Academies also help bridge the gap between the school community and home while also increasing opportunities for parental involvement and community support. School children exposed to drama, music, and dance may do a better job at mastering reading, writing, and math than those who focus solely on academics, according to a report by the Arts Education Partnership.
