• Accountability, Data, and State Assessments

    Manor ISD's  Research, Data, and Accountability Department manages the state assessment program and provides district and campus staff with expertise and support in data analysis and the state accountability system. The RDA department also facilitates internal and external research projects. More information about research can be found here.

     

    STAAR Scores

    Families can view their scholars' State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) and Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) test scores by visiting their individual TEA Family Portal pages, available through Skyward Family Access

    Accountability Information

    Manor ISD's 2022 Accountability Rating is C, with a scaled score of 75.  Ratings for all campuses in the district can be viewed by clicking on 2022 Accountabililty Summary Reports below.

    Credit By Examination

    Manor ISD's Accountability, Data, and State Assessment team facilitates Credit By Examination tests that may be used in certain circumstances for high school course credit or for grade advancement. CBE tests developed by the University of Texas are administered following these district procedures, four times a year: September, November, January, and May.

    Parents interested in having scholars take CBE tests should reach out to their campus principals. 

    Manor ISD's Academics department coordinates CBE tests for foreign language course credit. For foreign languages, students take the ACTFL Assessment of Performance toward Proficiency in Languages (AAPPL) exams. 

     

Accreditation Status

  • The assignment of district and charter school accreditation statuses is authorized by Texas Education Code (TEC), Chapter 39, Public School System Accountability, and 19 Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapter 97, Planning and Accountability, Subchapter EE, Accreditation Status, Standards, and Sanctions. The rules define the accreditation statuses of Accredited, Accredited-Warned, Accredited-Probation, and Not Accredited-Revoked and describe how accreditation statuses are determined and assigned.

    Manor ISD's accreditation status, assigned in 2019-20, is Accredited. Due to the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, new accreditation statuses will not be assigned until 2022-23.
