    Effective Schools Framework

  • Response to Intervention (RTI)

Response to Intervention (RTI) is a system for tracking the interventions that teachers offer a struggling scholar and documenting how that scholar is responding. When Tier 1 RTI is implemented well, most scholars respond positively and experience success. For a small portion of scholars, some basic interventions are not sufficient, and more intense interventions are needed. All interventions must be documented and verified to ensure that every scholar has the opportunity to be successful.
