I attended and graduated from the University of La Verne in California where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies and I am four classes away from obtaining my Master's Degree. I moved to Texas from Rancho Cucamonga, California, and was born in the beautiful city of Santa Monica, California. I am the mother to 6 daughters and 1 son whom I raised by myself. My hobbies include drawing, painting, growing plants, and reading. My "Why" is because I grew up being told I would never amount to anything, in addition to being abandoned, abused, and neglected. Once I became an adult, I decided to invest in the lives of children going through what I've endured and telling them that despite what negative things people may say, they can achieve what others may think is impossible if they endure and persist to the very end!!!
