I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelors in Elementary Studies and Special Education. This is my third year teaching 2nd grade at Decker Elementary, but I have been with Manor ISD for 16 years. I have served in other capacities within the district. I love to teach because I believe that every student DESERVES to have teachers who are passionate about teaching them. They deserve to have someone they can trust and form relationships with. I am originally from El Paso, Texas but have been living in Austin for over 25 years. I have two amazing daughters, Samantha and Amanda, who have both left home to further their education. I love to travel, especially on road trips, to discover new places in our beautiful country. I am excited to be a Dolphin and look forward to whatever new adventures this new school year will bring.
