This is my third year at Decker Elementary as an instructional coach.  I received my undergraduate degree from Texas State University and received my Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington. My journey as an educator began in 2013 when I taught 2nd grade for 5 years and 5th grade for 3 years. I have been an instructional coach for 3 years. I always enjoyed my time in the classroom working with students, but have found that working with teachers to support and offer new learning strategies has become a passion of mine. 

In my downtime, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, traveling, and watching various sports. I am an Austin FC fan - "Go, Verde and Black!" "LISTOS VERDE!" I am also a parent to one fur baby, Zorro. 

I am honored to have joined the DES family and am very excited about the upcoming school year!
