Ms. Nikkida Butler is honored to serve as an Assistant Principal at Manor New Tech Middle School. Since childhood, her passion has always journeyed towards working with children and families and teaching others. As a proud alumni of Texas State University-San Marcos, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with Teacher Certification, Master of Education degree in Counseling, holds state certification in (Principal) Instructional Leadership and holds licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
The 2020-2021 school year marks Ms. Butler’s twelfth year serving in Manor ISD. Within the district, Ms. Butler has served in multiple capacities at the elementary, middle school and high school levels. She has served in the roles of being an After-School Site Coordinator, Academic Interventionist, Math Teacher, Counselor and Assistant Principal.
Professionally, Ms. Butler continuously strives to interweave her counseling and administrator skillsets to serve scholars and families within the community, embracing a restorative approach to impact futures and lives. Personally, Ms. Butler values spending time with her daughter and family, traveling throughout the country and beyond the country, reading suspense novels and creating analytical analysis of all things in life.
Ms. Butler is humbled to serve the Manor New Tech community.
