Manor ISD Community:
During these evolving times, we hope you are taking care of yourselves and that our students and families have access to resources and supports as needed. This is a time of great uncertainty for all of us and we know you have a lot of questions.
Manor ISD is monitoring new information from state and local officials. Due to Governor Greg Abbott issuing an Executive Order implementing Essential Services and Activities Protocols, we are now closed through May 4th. As we have mentioned in the past, the return date is subject to change depending on what our local, state and federal officials are recommending.
During this extended closure, we will continue our food distribution program at three MISD locations. Those meals include breakfast and lunch that will be distributed between 11 am and 12:30 pm at Manor New Tech High School, Decker Elementary and Blake Manor Elementary.
Our e-Learning site is also available on our website, manorisd.net/eLearning, and has a variety of lesson plans available for all of our grade levels. We are also currently printing our paper academic packets that parents will be able to pick up at our food distribution locations.
We recognize that you are trying to make plans for your family and ask for your understanding as we face this unprecedented situation together. We truly appreciate and thank you for your patience.
Manor ISD has suspended normal school operations through Friday, May 4, 2020.
