Library Teacher Services

Information Literacy Lesson Preparation Services
Librarian will work with teachers to create and/or deliver lessons on information literacy, such as review of information sources, personal information management, and approaches to researching a topic.21st Century Skills Lesson Preparation Services
Librarian will work with teachers to create and/or deliver lessons designed to foster 21st century skills.
Content-specific Lesson Planning/ Materials Preparation Services
Teachers may request librarian assistance in identifying or creating lesson resources, information sources and tools.
Research Project Services
Librarian can brainstorm with teachers about alternative research project approaches and assist in the evaluation of different approaches for applicability to the subject and timeline. Librarian can also assist in the development of rubrics that will encourage students move beyond elementary and middle school research skills.
Materials Acquisition
Teachers may request that the librarian assist in the identification and purchase or temporary acquisition of materials.Testing Services
Teachers may arrange for students to take tests or make-up tests in the library.
Tutoring Services
Teachers may request student tutoring services, including remedial services, using both one on one and electronic resources.
