Welcome to Pioneer Crossing. My name is Mr. Alvarado and I am a native Texan a father of four children. I have been in education for 15+ years and this is my 10th-year teaching. I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 2011 with my Bachelors in Science Degree in Applied Learning Development. I have had the privilege to work as an educational assistant with Special needs students prior to becoming a teacher. (2001-2009)  I have taught 2nd grade and 5th grade I know have the pleasure of working as a Special Education Teacher. I have taught Functional Academics for 2 years and Life skills for 6 years.  I have a 17-year-old daughter McKenna who attends school in Round Rock High School. I have been married for 6 years to my wife Maria and we have a little girl named Ximena who will be turning 7 this year and two sons named Emiliano who will be turning 5 and Sebastian who is 3 years. I enjoy playing basketball, soccer and working out at the gym. I look forward to working with all the students and having fun in the coming years.
