Hello PCE Parents,

 

I am thrilled to be your new Literacy Coach!  This will be my 14th year as an Educator but you may know me from my former roles as AIM Teacher (K-5th), 3rd Grade Teacher, or Kindergarten Teacher. I received my Bachelors Degree from Texas State University in Interdisciplinary Studies and my Masters Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Educational Leadership. In my rare spare time, I love being with friends and family, cooking, and the challenge of DIY projects. 

 

This year we will be bringing back our PCE Literacy Night! More information will be shared as we get closer, as well as volunteer opportunities. In the meantime, we can work together to increase scholars' interest in reading by allowing them to choose books that reflect themselves and their interests. As J.K Rowling states, "If you don't like to read, you haven't found the right book".
