Mr. Segura received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University before attending the Chicago Portfolio School to specialize in Graphic Design. From there, he began a successful design career working in Chicago and the United Kingdom. Following his heart, he began teaching Visual Arts at Decker Elementary in 2009, here in Manor ISD. He later received his Masters in Education Administration from Lamar University and was blessed to serve as the Assistant Principal at both ShadowGlen and Presidential Meadows Elementary from 2015-2020.

From 2020-2022, he served as the district's Fine Arts Coordinator where his passion for Fine Arts education eventually led him to the Director role. He continues to work as a freelance designer and visual artist in his free time. He is a proud husband and father of two, enjoys cooking, spending time at the beach and tackling new creative projects in his free time.

Mr. Gee-Cordova holds a Masters in Music Education from The University of Southern California where he led graduate and undergraduate courses in general music education mentoring pre-service teachers. He served as a Site-Coordinator for USC Thornton School of Music Outreach Program, which collaborated with inner city schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. He is also a proud graduate of UT Austin, Texas Principal Leadership Academy with a Masters in Education, Leadership and Policy.

He has been a Choir Director, Theatre Director and Elementary School Music Teacher across all grade levels and was named the Secondary Teacher of The Year from Round Rock Independent School District. Prior to teaching, he served as an Arts Administrator for the Los Angeles Opera’s award winning Education & Community Programs, which reached over 160,000 students, teachers and community members each year. He is excited to join the Manor ISD Fine Arts Department and is looking forward to supporting our determined and dedicated Fine Arts educators and scholars.
