I am the Guidance Counselor for Decker Elementary School. I graduated from Texas AM Corpus Christi with a BS degree. I earned a Masters degree from Texas AM Kingsville.I have worked in education for over thirty ears.
I currently live in Austin, Texas with my family. I have a daughter, son and one grandson.
 
As the School Counselor I see children individually and in groups. I conduct classroom guidance lessons to help improve social and emotional learning, as well as,help build good character in each student.
 
Parents can call and talk with the me or make an appointment to discuss concerns you may have about problems that your child may be experiencing at school or issues at home that may be affecting him or her at school. If you need assistance in locating community resources for your child or family please feel free to contact me any time.

  • DES Counselor's Office

    The DES Counselor provides assistance with all students of Decker Elementary. This assistance include individual and group counseling as needed. Also, the counselor will provide classroom guidance for students on positive behavior, high expectations, and bully prevention.
