High School (Dress Code Violations)
Failure to comply with dress code/ SMOD rules will result in referrals which can be coded in Skyward under the following: DCV- Dress Code Violation, DTS- Disrespect to Staff, INS- Insubordination, RTC- Refusal to Comply
High School (Dress Code Violations):1st offense:
Scholars will be given the opportunity to correct the issue.
Phone call home & document in Skyward.
If unable to correct the issue, scholar will receive a referral and consequence for the day. Once in dresscode scholar goes back to class.
Conference with admin.
2nd offense:
Scholars will be given the opportunity to correct the issue.
Phone call home & document in Skyward.
If unable to correct the issue, scholar will receive a referral and spend the remainder of the day in ISS or once in dresscode scholar goes back to class.
Conference with admin.
3rd offense:
Scholars will be given the opportunity to correct the issue.
Phone call home
If unable to correct the issue, scholar will receive a referral and spend the remainder of the day in ISS or once in dresscode scholar goes back to class.
Conference with admin.
More than 3 violations:
Referral for Persistent Misbehavior or Failure to Follow Administrative Directive & placement in ISS for the remainder of the day. -
Middle Schools

- 1st offense:
- Phone call home
- Parents bring clothes or student borrows clothes for the day. Once in dresscode, scholar goes back to class.
- Conference with admin.
- 2nd offense:
- Phone call home
- Parents bring clothes or student borrows clothes for the day or spend the remainder of the day in ISS or once in dresscode scholars goes back to class.
- Parent Conference with admin.
- 3rd offense:
- Phone call home
- Parents bring clothes or student borrows clothes for the day or spend the remainder of the day in ISS or once in dresscode scholars goes back to class.
- Parent Conference with admin.
- More than 3 violations:
- Phone call home
- Parents bring clothes or student borrows clothes for the day or spend the remainder of the day in ISS or once in dresscode scholars goes back to class.
- Parent Conference with admin.
- Students with SMOD in their backpack but out of dress code
- Students will change into correct clothes, parents will be contacted to pick up clothes.

- 3rd offense:

- Parents bring SMOD clothes or student borrows SMOD clothes for the day

- After school detention with parent contact and pickup/or first step in school’s discipline plan
- More than 3 violations:
- Depending on length of time between offenses, refer to Parent Liaison or SFSS and/ or next step on school wide discipline plan
