Ryane Gaston has served as an educator for 18 years. Most recently, Mrs. Gaston held the position of assistant principal of Pioneer Crossing Elementary School for the past year and a half. Prior to that, she served in various elementary teaching roles as a kindergarten, 1st grade, K-5 resource, and 3rd grade teacher, and Instructional Coach.

Mrs. Gaston earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas State University. Her educational experiences have afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement and well-being. Her educational philosophy is based on the belief that all students can learn, given a positive learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, and a supportive family. Mrs. Gaston is ecstatic to serve the students and their families at Pioneer Crossing Elementary. She understands how important of a role the school plays in making sure the children of our community are receiving a quality education that will prepare them with the skills they need to be successful in today’s society.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children traveling with dance and sports, and shopping.
