2022-2023 Academic Calendar
On April 5, 2022, the Manor ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2022-23 Academic Calendar. The new calendar will allow for Manor ISD to receive additional funding to provide enriched learning opportunities and accelerated instruction that addresses summer loss for our scholars. This funding is a part of the Additional Days School Year (ADSY) program. The district is working on options to provide food and child care services for non-instructional weekdays. We are also seeking partnerships for after-school programs. More information will be provided as additional services are made available.

HB4545: Informational Webinar to Learn How This Bill Affects Your Scholar
On June 16, 2021, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 4545 (HB4545) during the 87th Legislative Session. This law required school districts to provide additional accelerated instruction for scholars who did not take or “did not meet grade level” on the STAAR or STAAR end-of-course assessment in Spring 2021.

Manor ISD Wins 2021 TAEA District of Distinction Award
Manor ISD — Sept. 3, the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) announced the 40 winners of the 2021 District of Distinction Award. Among the list of honorees is Manor ISD. The districts received the honor for providing a well-rounded education that advocates and integrates visual arts curriculum to inspire creativity and build social-emotional learning that connects learners to their community and beyond.

MISD Encourages Summer Learning
Manor, TX (May 28, 2021) - Manor ISD encourages summer learning through various summer school opportunities. Pre-K4 and Kindergarten scholars currently participating in bilingual or ESL programs are invited to join us June 7th through June 30th at the Manor Elementary Early Learning Center for summer school. Free breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided.
