Desktop Computing
ITS has established a standard model of DELL desktop CPU for all users (students, staff, and administrators). A standardized model allows for streamlined support and operations. The standardized staff and student model is a DELL Optiplex 755. |

Productivity
Manor ISD is currently standardized on Microsoft Office 2003. The standardized Operating Systems are Windows XP and Mac OS X Leopard. |

Laptop Computing
The standardized model of laptops are DELL Latitude E6400 series and Apple Macbooks. The District is also restructuring its classroom computing environment by proposing new Dell 2100 Latitudes in carts as opposed to additional desktops in classrooms. |

Creativity
Adobe CS3 and Adobe Acrobat are software titles of choice for newsletter, web development, and printing. MISD has campus-wide licenses for Manor High School and Manor New Tech High for Adobe CS3. Apple computers are complemented with the iWork and iLife suites. |

Innovative Integration
A projector (Epson 83c) with an integrated speaker sysetem will work with a Epson DC-10 document camera for digital projection of any document or artifact in all new classrooms. |

Kidspiration/Inspiration, Tech4Learning's Imagination Suite, and access to thousands of online short and full length video clips through Discovery "Education" Streaming (formerly United Streaming). |

Data and Information
Skyward is the District's choice for Student and Business Information Management. Along with the database application, MISD has added modules for GradeBook, Family Access, and Employee Access to enhance the distribution of information to those who need it. |
