MES Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to a new school year. Our first day of school is August 25, 2009. Starting a new school year is always exciting. Our focus will be on providing each child with the best possible education socially and academically. Our academic emphasis will be on the core content areas of reading, language arts, science, social studies, writing and math. We will also continue to provide many extra learning opportunities such as Intervention, After School Tutoring and Saturday School and which will help us exceed state standards. We are excited to add some clubs for our students to enjoy such as math, science, art along with our current chess club.
You and all our stakeholders are always welcome here at MES! We encourage you to come join the PTO, volunteer your time and energy to make this year a great learning experience for all our students. It’s imperative that we work together to ensure all our students get the best possible opportunity to achieve their highest level of success. We know that with your involvement, combined with our excellent faculty and staff, we will make this fall semester a very rewarding experience for everyone.
