Special Education Department
Mission Statement:
The Manor Independent School District Special Education Department is committed to providing a supportive environment for students, teachers and administrators in order to make learning successful for ALL students.
GOALS
- The Special Education Department will share the responsibility and commitment to high expectations for ALL students regardless of their individual differences.
- Special Education will provide access to the general education curriculum for students with disabilities with the same rigor as afforded to same age peers.
- Special Education will provide a safe harbor where students with disabilities and/or differences can learn to their maximum potential.
- Special Education will provide the tools needed to pursue further education and/or obtain maximum independence in post school years to students with disabilities.
