Special Education Department

Mission Statement:

The Manor Independent School District Special Education Department is committed to providing a supportive environment for students, teachers and administrators in order to make learning successful for ALL students.

GOALS

The Special Education Department will share the responsibility and commitment to high expectations for ALL students regardless of their individual differences.

Special Education will provide access to the general education curriculum for students with disabilities with the same rigor as afforded to same age peers.

Special Education will provide a safe harbor where students with disabilities and/or differences can learn to their maximum potential.

Special Education will provide the tools needed to pursue further education and/or obtain maximum independence in post school years to students with disabilities.
