Paraprofessional/Auxiliary

If applying for a new position, both current and non-Manor ISD employees must fully complete the Manor ISD Paraprofessional / Auxiliary Application.

If interested in a specific posted vacancy, please edit your application and select each vacancy that interests you. Also note the special instructions section of the job postings for additional requirements for posted vacancies.

  1. The online application requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher or Netscape 6.0 or higher. If you do not meet these minimum browser requirements, you will NOT be able to complete the application. Please make sure you meet these requirements before proceeding.

  2. You will be asked for the following specific information to complete the application. Have available for reference:
    • Certification Type, Level, Description; month and year of issue and month and year of expiration, if applicable
    • College/Universities attended, graduation date, degree earned and major subject.
    • To/From dates of teaching, student teaching and non-teaching experience, name of organization, name of supervisor and contact phone number.
    • Honors, distinctions, and training you have completed.
    • Three (3) professional references including name, title, organization name and address, work phone, and home phone & email address. At least two references must have professionally evaluated your work performance. Note: email addresses will be used to send an online reference form on you.

  3. Certain fields have been identified with an asterisk (*). These fields are required and you will not be allowed to submit your application unless these fields are completed.

  4. When entering phone numbers, only input the numbers. Do not try to enter dashes, hyphens or parentheses.

  5. When entering dates, follow the format indicated, i.e., (MM/YYYY) equals 05/2000.

  6. If you hold a Lifetime Certification, leave the Expire Date field blank; do not enter Lifetime.

  7. When you have completed a page, click on the NEXT button at the bottom of the page to save your information and move to the next page.

  8. We recommend that you use the "Review & Print" option before you submit your Online Application. You will have the opportunity to make changes to your application in the future using the "Have you already applied? Click here to login" option. You will need to record your "Applicant ID" and "Password" in order to make login.

  9. Once you have submitted your application you will receive an INSTANT message saying “Your application has been successfully transmitted to the Manor ISD. Thank you for your interest in employment with the district." This is your indication that your application has been added to the Manor ISD applicant database and is available to district principals and other hiring officials. DO NOT SEND FURTHER PAPERWORK TO THE DISTRICT UNLESS CREDENTIALS ARE REQUESTED BY OUR HIRING PROFESSIONALS OR SPECIFICALLY LISTED ON THE JOB POSTING.

  10. It is anticipated that the application process will take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete. The system will time out automatically if the NEXT button or the SUBMIT button has not been activated for more than 30 minutes. If this occurs, you will be directed back to a new application and may begin the process again.

  11. Dependent upon your browser’s functionality, depressing the ENTER key on your keyboard may take you to the next page. To avoid this problem, use only the TAB key or your mouse to move from field to field.

  12. Once your application is received by our office, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of our receipt of this information at the e-mail address you specify in your application.
