Mission Statement

The mission of the Manor Independent School District Food Service Department is to ensure that every student is offered a high quality, well balanced meal with friendly service.

Child Nutrition Program Information

The nutritional goal for school meals is to provide a large portion of the recommended daily dietary allowances. We believe nutrition is crucial to a student’s academic performance and we are available to meet those needs.

Breakfast
Students are encouraged to take advantage of the nutritious breakfast provided by the district. We offer a balanced breakfast every morning that will help students start the day right.

Pre-Payment
In order to expedite the lunchtime process, please have children pre-pay for their meals using one of the following methods:

1. Check – list student ID number(s) or students full name in the memo area, make payable to MANOR ISD FOOD SERVICE
2. Cash – in an envelope,  list student ID number(s) or students full name
3. Online with debit/credit card  ($2.50 service fee) – click on the link below

You can use the above methods to pay for more than one student with one easy payment. Just be sure to indicate the multiple student ID numbers or names and how much money should be credited to each account. This system will allow students access to their account from any serving line in the district.

Pin Numbers
Special pin numbers may now be assigned to a student’s account to ensure security. To acquire a pin number, please contact the Food Service office at (512) 278-4080.

ID Numbers
Secondary students may obtain ID number information from the school or by calling the Food Service office. Elementary students will be provided with a coded lunch card they can find on a board in the school cafeteria. The cards will be organized by grade/teacher.

Charges
Students will only be allowed to “charge” their lunch two times. After two charges, a sandwich and milk will be provided for one day only. Students will be required to bring their lunch from home until all charges are paid. This policy will be in effect until the month of May, when no charges will be allowed.
