Manor ISD is implementing a new curriculum and assessment management system from Data Driven Software Corporation (D2SC) that not only will connect our curriculum with assessment, but will also provide our district with tools to track programs and services as well as teacher performance. This system will allow us to move forward as we continue to focus on increasing student achievement, enhancing teacher quality and improving district operations. The new management system will provide Manor ISD teachers with a user-friendly framework to access content curriculum and have easier access to lessons, activities, strategies and interventions. The Curriculum and Instruction Department, along with their Curriculum Collaboratives (selected MISD teachers) were very busy this summer revising instructional sequences based on teacher feedback as well as revised state standards. They will continuously be adding content to ensure teachers have more instructional components at their finger-tips. At the end of each grading period, the Curriculum and Instruction Department will be facilitating discussions regarding viable suggestions for revisions. Teachers are highly encouraged to share effective lessons and activities with the Curriculum and Instruction department to ensure district-wide collaboration and success. |
